Christiane’s tortellini and tomato soup (with thermomix)

  • 1 Onion (I use frozen diced onions)
  • 1 Garlic (I use frozen garlic pieces)
  • 20g Olive oil
  • 500g Water
  • 1 Vegetable stock cube
  • 150g Single cream (I use oat cream)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 400g Tinned tomatoes
  • 600g Fresh Tortellini
  • Herbs (Basil, Oregano, Thyme)
  • 3 Baby Peppers (or frozen sliced mixed peppers)

Preparation steps

  1. Put onions and garlic in the mixing bowl. Add olive oil. 3 minutes/120°C/Speed 1
  2. Add water, vegetable stock, single cream, salt and pepper. 6 minutes/98°C/Speed 1
  3. Add tinned tomatoes and peppers. 10 minutes/98°C/Reversed/Speed 1
  4. Add tortellini and herbs. 3 minutes/90°C/Reversed/Speed Slow
