Green beans with butter and lemon
Green beans, quantity as needed, cut to about 1 inch. (You can substitute or mix with mange tout or sugar snaps)
Butter, large knob
Lemon juice, of whole lemon
Olive Oil, 2 tablespoons
Garlic, 2 cloves, crushed and finely sliced
Add the oil to a pan and gently heat the garlic over a medium heat.
After a few minutes add the beans and butter, stir while heating.
Add lemon juice, and cook on gentle heat while stirring. Serve when beans are tender or crunchy according to taste. Serve with meat (like ham or lardons) or on its own with crusty bread
